I have been with big fish games for years.they recently changed their game manager and now I can't download anything!!!!! I have tried everything on their web site and nothing works. I have had geek squad check computer.its fine.

Is there anyone out there to help me. I can't get them to reply to my email. I have working on this for days!!!!!!!!! If everything else is working on your computer - then this is not (obviously) a Microsoft issue. If you have been unable to get an answer from Big Fish Games technical support - then two things are possible: 1) Their technical support sucks. 2) The problem is larger than just you and they are working feverishly to fix it.

Personal Aside: having Geek Squad check your computer proves little.:-) I like to give the benefit of the doubt first and assume (2) is the issue with your contacting them. In addition, on, they have this note: ' Due to high demand across other primary support channels, we have temporarily closed live chat.' Which leads me to believe, if that was actually available before, they are overwhelmed and unable to assist with an actual fix at this time (although the smart thing would be to announce that too.) So can you be much more specific with what you are doing and what the results are?

A good description of the problem goes a long way. Include the links to each of the 'everything' you tried on their web page so those are not just thrown back at you as well. Beyond that - given these seem to mostly be web based games - I suggest a few simple things. 1) from your computer and reboot. 2) Uninstall all Internet plugins (at least all of these that are installed: Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Apple QuickTime, Microsoft Silverlight, Java Runtime Environment, etc.) via P and reboot. 4) If you have Firefox, and as well. If you do not have.

Install it - you'll try using it instead of Internet Explorer later. 5) Install these Internet Plugins:. (uncheck any boxes to install other stuff).

(uncheck any boxes to install other stuff). (uncheck all boxes here too). (install carefully, don't install anything extra) Reboot the computer.

Try it in Internet Explorer. Try it in Firefox. Please note there are links galore throughout the instructions for more details.- Shenan Stanley MVP 2005-2011 & 2013-2015 Insider MVP 2016-. The tech I am working with suggested going through the msconfig route, disabling all in Startup, hiding MS services and Disabling all Services - computer restarts at OK. I uninstalled game manager which was set to run with XP service Pack 3 (which I do no longer have) and change properties to OS 7 which I do have when I did the reinstall.

That did not work. If it had, and it may for you, suggestion was then to add 1-2 of the disabled items and, if it did not work at one point, that was probably the culprit. I have also looked into updating Shockwave and Java - not behind on either. Big Fish will load games which supposedly updates the game manager as well. I have a backup (several, actually) to use for an earlier version of game manager which I am going to try and, if that works, will stick with it until the new manager is debugged and re-released. I more than agree with you.

The games I already have, I cannot play. I keep getting error messages without a number. I thought bought a game, but Big Fish says I did not.

I want to cancel my membership and I cannot do that, either. I have written Big Fish so many times it is not funny. But, I cannot get them to write back. I can,t even write this reply with my own email address because of the problems with Microsoft. If I clear my computer, I will lose everything I have. Microsoft and Big Fish are both nothing but problems. Some of your games are likely using plugins that are probably no longer supported in many modern browsers as they have been (rightly so) deemed 'hazardous' for one ore more reasons; likely most were determined to be that way after years of updates, patching, more vulnerabilities found, etc.

So - in order to actually assist you, you would need to LIST the games that are giving you trouble by name, manufacturer and version if you know it. We'd have to determine if it is a locally installed game or one running from a web page (for example) to start to help and the information about what the specific games were would help. If local - try compatibility modes when running the game (say, Windows XP for really old games, Windows Vista/7 for newer (post-2007) games and you might get away with Windows 8/8.1 for some newer (post 2012) games.

If Internet-based: use Mozilla Firefox. Reset the browser completely after uninstalling all plugins/add-ons from it. Then install the latest versions of the plugins/add-ons you need (like Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, Apple Quicktime, Microsoft Silverlight, Java Runtime Environment, etc.) for the games in question. You could try using Internet Explorer instead of Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 - if you were used to it before. Can even make it the default Internet Browser.- Shenan Stanley MVP 2005-2011 & 2013-2015 Insider MVP 2016-. Tell your bank to stop all payments to big fish. That you cancelled the membership and if anymore funds are taken out it will be fraud.

Be clear about that. My bank had to investigate them as they were hacked and many customers had money stolen via big fish. The bank had a difficult time getting in contact with them & quote 'We are not impressed with their business practice' They are on every banks list of 'Bad Sites'/ 'Fraudulent flags'. If they continue down this road they will be in for major lawsuits by banks/governments. Individuals will gather for class action suits. The smarty pants are not as intelligent as they think! Bad business with it all locked safely in our 'Big Fish Files'.

Good luck, my friend. I have the same problems as JerelWest. The games are larger than my screen.

I saw all the instructions that was given by Shenan Stanley, they are too complicated for me. I'm a senior on a fixed income and can't buy new games. I have over 100 games that I have bought since about 2008 or so and there is no way I can list all of them and go over each and every one.

I don't know how to reset browser or plugins and all that stuff, I just play and enjoy my games. Isn't there just one thing that I can do to fix this mess. I tried un-installing some of the games and BIGFISH game manager and re-installing them, but nothing works. I ran and cleaned up computer with AVG scan.

I can't even use that program Cortana, I ask it questions and it says it can't find it. I wish I knew how to un-install Windows 10 without messing everything in my computer. I am very upset and wish I was more computer knowledgeable, but I'm stuck.

If there is someone that can help me with something simple to correct this problem, please let me know. I would appreciate it very much. Thanking you in advance and to let me vent about Windows 10.
