Free Knitting Wizard For Mac

I currently have Sweater Wizard, Hat Wizard, and Mitt/Glove Wizard. I know these are no longer available. I will be upgrading my computer and it will be running Windows 10. Does anyone know if these programs will be compatable with Windows 10. If not is anyone using similar software programs.

What are they? How do you like them? I have a new computer with Windows 10. I've used the Sweater Wizard and the Sock Wizard and have had no problems what-so-ever with these programs working.

I do have the Hat Wizard and Mitt/Glove Wizard but have not tried these yet with Windows 10. I cannot vouch for those to work but since both the Sweater and Sock Wizards work, I see no reason that the others wouldn't work as well.

Get Ann Budd's 'Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns.' I suspect it does something similar, and need not be compatible with Windows anything. After I saw Windows 8, my next computer was a MacBook. I use the 'knitting wizard' that is available for free and no computer needed. I have seen demos on those programs. It takes more effort to get to the point where the computer starts doing the work. Isn't it quicker and easier to just pick up the yarn and needles and knit?

So you need to purchase software for each item you want to knit. Socks, sweaters, hats, mittens then purchase new ones every time your system updates?

No need to answer. I assume you enjoy it. I just think it's more trouble than it's worth. Good luck to you! There are many programs that work on Windows 10, even though that operating system is not listed on the packaging. Another poster has already stated such for 2 programs that were around long before Windows 10.

It's worth a try. Unless MS got rid of the function with version 10 - Just install the program and then if doesn't seem to work properly - backward compatibility the function.
