The texture of the lipstick is fantastic. It is very smooth, creamy, and goes on my lips without a single tug or pull. A single swipe gives a semi-sheer coverage which can be easily deepened to get the actual color. Then, after a few minutes, it settles down on the lips. While not drying up your lips, the color, true to its form, turns matte within minutes and sets on your lips for a good period of time, post which it sort of flakes slightly and fades evenly, leaving a dark red tint.

It indeed can last for 6 hours easily if you aren’t eating or drinking food. However, it might dry off slightly, so reapplication after a period of four hours is advised. It has a nice orange-y smell which reminds me of the I have reviewed on ETM a while back.

The color Red Coat is a beauty. A lovely shade of blue-based red, it’s the closest Indian dupe of MAC Ruby Woo I have seen. However, Ruby Woo is a slightly darker color, while this one is slightly lighter. In fact, I am adding a swatch of both lipsticks together and you would get the picture easily. I am very surprised to see the fact that this color lasts a good period of time on my lips and actually gives a better feel than the way-too-drying Ruby Woo.

Very close to Ruby Woo I agree Poorna.:) Today I am wearing Pink Colar from the range and I have to mention again how I love the texture of these lipsticks. I just do not like how it sets into my fine lines highlighting even the faintest line badly. Otherwise these are so creamy to apply and stay on for such a good period of time.
